Technical information

Thermoplastics elastomers (TPE)

Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) are compounds that are made of hard thermoplastics or soft rubber, often made with additives with oil or fillers. All of the soft/hard TPE combinations are characterized by rubber-like properties only their heat resistance, resistance against chemicals, flexibility and shape regaining after pressure (permanent deflection) is differentiating them of each other. The advantage of thermoplastics is the easy way of processing with traditional thermoplastic methods.

Polyethilene (PE)

Polyethilene is one of the most widely used plastic in the world, which is widespread in many industries. Its main properties are good melting feature, can be shaped easily, it’s hard to weld. Many sub-groups are known of PE, and many kinds of polyethylene are produced, which enables several ways of use.

Main fields of usage (including but not limited to): grocery bags, packaging film, laminating sheets, gaskets, tubes, chords, discs, window washing containers, petrol containers.

Polyamide (PA)

Polyamides are polymers where its monomers are attached by amid bonding. There are natural polyamides, but artificially made polyamides are also known, most of which are thermoplastic poly-condensation plastics. Main features of polyamides are good aging resistance, heat resistance, high solidity and rigidity, good deterioration resistance, excellent resistance against chemicals (such as chemical petrol, lubricants or aromas).

Main field of usage: automotive industrial covers, door handles, steering wheel cover, bearings, in case of electrical use low voltage switches, connectors.

Polypropylene (PP)

Polypropylene is an addition polymer, which is made of propylene monomer. It is extremely resistant against most of the chemical dissolvent; in room temperature it resists lixivium and acids. It is applicable to store food as no harmful chemicals are dissolving from polypropylene. It is mostly recommended for indoor use, its outdoor use is limited. Polypropylene can be processed by almost all known technology.

PP can be used in several areas such as spare parts of vehicle (bumper), chords, carpets, tapes, containers, packing foils, household items.
